Was created as a grassroots Print Portfolio to engage and educate the public about the serious consequences to all of us that relying on unsustainable energy, especially fossil fuels, brings.
This is accomplished primarily through the exhibition and promotion of international themed collaborations of diverse printmakers. To date, the first two portfolios have been exhibited in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Nicaragua.

“Pipelines and Borderlines": ”THE ART OF SURVIVAL
Is the third Pipelines and Borderlines print portfolio. This time, instead of focusing on an issue like the first two portfolios, we are concentrating on the STORIES that have and are happening to many peoples, again in north and central America. Each artist will choose the story that speaks to them. Our intention is to create significant and accessible art to educate the public about the adverse impact on all of us caused by unsustainable production and consumption of non renewable energy.

Through traveling exhibits of visual art, and web presence, people’s stories about how they have been affected are transformed into powerful images. The outcome is empowerment of the story tellers and artists, as well as the public, through their expanded awareness.
